Those Charming Ladies
Petite adorable store offering home living products and more...
Great minds think alike – this statement doesn’t only apply to a team of scientists, but also nicely suits two happy housewives who tossed their ideas together into an adorable little store. They are Annette Ratman, a former advertising woman whose passion is to explore the world with her family, and Trini Tambu, a gemstone enthusiast. They crossed paths and then merged their creative minds into one melting pot in Batu Belig called the Triette Store. Named after the founders’ abbreviated names, Tri and Nette, their Triette Store offers knick-knacks that make the store look more like a gift shop where people won’t leave without having something in their hands.
Seventy percent of the products are designed by Annette and Trini, such as cushion and bed sheets, table and bed runners, bamboo straws, wooden kitchenware, design-oriented stationaries and jewelry – all made in Indonesia using locally sourced materials. The owners’ inspiration is derived from the Indonesian archipelago, which Annette specifically emphasized when asked about their secret in making the Triette Store successful. “We live in a gorgeous country where culture is embodied in every corner. So we thought why don’t we put all this unique and diverse culture into one place and mix them with upright designs? By doing that, we hope we can make them more attractive and keep them lasting throughout time,” said Annette.
So then, what’s the other thirty percent? Since the ladies are friends with other inspirational businessmen and women, the store also includes similar products from Tan Living and kids pajamas and clothes from Em & Lu. There are also wooden posters, coasters and keychains from Pakis Merah. So, if you are a fan of home living, upcycled products, and local handmade items, Triette Store is the perfect option for a visit during your holiday in Bali or simply for window-shopping. This store will not let you down for sure. Instead, your creative mind will flow and at the same time you will appreciate Indonesian products more. Oh, and did I mention that the prices start from Rp. 15,000?
