From sunrise amidst the rice paddies to sunset on the horizon, Soori Bali offers serenity for every couple in love...
Lush paddy fields please your eyes as you get closer to the resort. And once you arrive, friendly staff will greet you as if you’re coming home, while the view of the ocean afar immediately soothes your mind. Nestled between the Batukaru Mountain and paddy fields, Soori Bali – which is designed and operated by owner and architect Soo K. Chan – has everything you need for a dreamy getaway with your loved one. From rice fields to ocean view, from sunrise to sunset, the resort boasts a magnificent natural beauty for a lifetime experience...
It takes about one hour to get to the resort from South Bali – you can arrange the resort’s transfer service to pick you up. Soori Bali is tucked away in secluded Tabanan where the view of rice fields please your eyes on your way there. When you arrive at the resort, a number of the hotel staff will welcome you and escort you to the alfresco lobby. As they help with your check in, you and your loved one can indulge in the fresh air and the tranquil view of the ocean while sipping a refreshing welcome drink.
Soori Bali has 48 villas (each one has a privatee pool) in seven different categories – one-bedroom Beach Pool Villa, one-bedroom Ocean Pool Villa, one-bedroom Mountain View Villa, three-bedroom Residences, six-bedroom Soori Residence and ten-bedroom The Soori Estate. For lovebirds who long for an ocean view, the one-bedroom Ocean Pool Villa is the perfect choice. Covering 275 square meters of land, the one-bedroom Ocean Pool Villa has a homey ambiance with white color dominating the sleek and sophisticated style, designed by Soo K. Chan.
The villa is truly a home away from home for couples with Soori Living furniture. Equipped with a king-size bed, the villa also has a spacious bathroom with a bathtub, an outdoor shower and Soori Bath amenities, a private living room with a 49-inch LCD TV and a comfortable sofa to unwind. But the best feature is the private infinity pool. Overlooking the view of the tranquil ocean, the private pool lies right outside the living room, separated only with floor-to-ceiling glass sliding doors – nothing can compare to being greeted by the view of the pool and the ocean as you open the door, right?
The one-bedroom Ocean Pool Villa also has an outdoor pavilion next to the pool. Overlooking the beach and the ocean, the pavilion is the perfect place to read your favorite book or simply unwind accompanied by the sound of the waves.
But if you prefer to see the greenery, the one-bedroom Mountain Pool Villa is the answer as it boasts a view of the rice fields and Mount Batukaru.
Despite its secluded location, Soori Bali offers “Journeys by Soori”, a list of fun activities that will take you closer to the local community. Take the ‘Sunrise at Tanah Lot’ to visit Bali’s iconic temple in the morning or the ‘All about Rice’ to experience traditional rice cultivation. Other activities are available, such as the ‘Trekking and Cycling Adventure’ at Baturiti Village, ‘Journey of the Gods’ for temple hopping, ‘Exploring Kerambitan’ to learn about the local’s royal heritage, and more.
But if you and your loved one don’t feel like exploring the neighboring area, staying in will be just as perfect. Take your loved one to indulge in some delectable dishes at Cotta restaurant. Located next to the resort’s main swimming pool, the alfresco restaurant serves selections of a la carte breakfast, Asian dishes for lunch and Indonesian cuisine for dinner. For some Western cuisine, take your loved one to Ombak restaurant – don’t forget to indulge in some cocktails at the Ombak Bar and Lounge as the sun sets on the horizon. Or better yet, embark on a relaxing journey by taking the Balinese massage treatment at Soori Spa.
As of May 2017, Soori Bali has an onsite traditional medicine practitioner and a herbal pharmacy. Be one of the first to reveal these new features!
