Artist In Collaboration
Yayasan Design+Art Indonesia is back with its 7th Indonesian Contemporary Art & Design (ICAD) Festival. The theme of this year’s event is “Seven Scenes,” where seven local artists from different focus points will collaborate with the country’s young talents to interpret the rapid changes in an area, specifically the Kemang area. Artist Agung Kurniawan, architect Budi Pradono and designer Oscar Lawalata are a few of the artists involved in this festival. ICAD 7 also presents a contemporary fashion installation created by Anton Ismael, Felicia Budi, Marishka Soekarna and Tommy Ambiyo, and has a special zone named ‘Artists Merchandises’ where visitors can find creative products from a number of local talents. Other activities cover conventions on design, art, craftsmanship and film at the hotel, as well as a movie discussion at Kinosaurus Jakarta and a book discussion at CoffeeWar – all these activities are designed to inspire visitors and bring them closer to the art world. ICAD 7 will be held until December 7.
