Art for All
Towards the end of 2017, Cata Odata made a remarkable mark in Bali’s art world by hosting “CO. Lab”, a program where they work with artists and communities. This time, they collaborated with Circle Art Residency, a new creative initiative founded by London-based artists Marie-Louise Jones and Marisa Polin whose vision is to form creative circles by partnering with local organizations. Together with seven other London-based artists – that include Max Maxwell, Vanja karas, Susana Sanroman, Ramachandra Selvam and Indiana Roper-Evans – Marie-Louise and Marisa Polin have been joining a one-month residency in Ubud where they work across a number of disciplines, such as photographer, painting, film, installation, sound and digital art, and more, and visit the studio of Bali-based artists.
And this month, Cata Odata is inviting art enthusiasts in Bali to enjoy the creation of these artists at their gallery in Ubud. On December 8, the opening of the exhibition will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The event only last for two days (December 8 and 9), and is free for public. So, make sure you don’t miss it!
