Abalone Three Ways
In the Chinese cuisine, abalone or bao yu is one of the most prominent food during the Chinese New Year as it symbolizes “assurance” (bao) and “surplus” (yu). It is also often considered as an expensive food. But at Golden Lotus Chinese Restaurant, you can enjoy abalone at affordable price. Choices include steamed slice abalone with prawn dumplings with oyster sauce, braised abalone and baby bok choy with Szechuan sauce, and braised abalone and jellyfish in Golden Lotus’ Thai sauce. Each one is priced at Rp. 120,000 nett/portion, including rice for two persons. These delicious delicacies are only available from January 1 to March 31, 2018 – which means, you can indulge them as you celebrate this year’s Chinese New Year that falls on February 16!
