    If you like to munch some beef burger or creamy carbonara pasta but feel guilty for digging in those carbs and fat afterwards, now might be the right time for you to consider alternative food that is just as delicious but healthier. There are numerous dining places that offer raw and tasty food, but if you don’t know where to go, The Living Food Lab in Canggu is definitely a must-try.

    It was one beautiful Sunday when I decided to indulge in a scrumptious brunch at The Living Food Lab. As I sat on my table, I knew I made the right choice. The place is inviting on its own, designed with a dynamic industrial style. Perfect breezy wind caressing my hair, and as I looked at their menu, their raw food selections seem to be mouth-watering. I put my order in, and while waiting for the food, I couldn’t resist their healthy shots.

    The Living Food Lab has a unique way to serve these shots. Presented in eight laboratory test tubes, each tube is filled with different healthy drink; pure ginger, green juice, pure lemon and, my favorite, turmeric with orange shot. They were totally fresh, and contained pure ingredients.

    A glass of banana smoothie mixed with mango and strawberry came next. Served with cocoa nibs, this drink was not only refreshing but also had a rich texture. Sipping the heavenly sweet yet nutritious beverage, I kept thanking the universe for indulging me with the healthiest Sunday Brunch I have ever had. And these drinks were only a start.

    My Sunday Brunch moved on with one of the most talked-about vegan food in the area, the gluten-free cannelloni. Made of slices of zucchini filled with homemade pesto sauce, white cream and fresh spinach, this dish instantly boost my energy and mood. It was even more perfect when paired with some roasted spinach leaves with ground peanuts as a side dish. Splendid combination, indeed!

    For dessert, their vegan Coconut Key Lime Pie was the best choice for me as it wasn’t too sweet. The strong aroma of coconut combined with zesty lime added an excellent twist – I couldn’t stop digging this dish spoon after spoon until the last drop.

    So, if you need a proof that healthy food can be exceptionally tasteful, just head to The Living Food Lab. It is time to reward your body and soul with positive benefits from clean eating.
