Ever since it was first launched in October 2017, the #EatDrinkHilton program has been surprising guests with highlighting a local ingredient as the star of the month at all Hilton hotels in Jakarta, Bali and Bandung. This May, Hilton Hotels in Indonesia has chosen coconut as their signature produce – and at Hilton Bali Resort, you can find this locally-sourced ingredient transformed into a five-star quality dish to please your palate.
Courtesy of Executive Chef Clinton Webber and his talented culinary team, Hilton Bali Resort offers a number of delicious dishes with the use of fresh coconuts. The “Duo Fish Coco”(Rp. 110,000 nett) at Delicatessen is definitely a must-try, presenting a perfect combination of spiced fresh tuna and salmon with crispy okra, edamame miso salsa and coconut-based dressing. Another option is to go to The Shore, the resort’s beachfront restaurant, and indulge in the “Salmon and Coconut Textures” (Rp. 210,000 nett) which consists of slow-cooked salmon, coconut textures, sweet and sour fennel, citrus gel and coconut essence spray.
For a complete #EatDrinkHilton experience, don’t forget to sip some of the “Sawangan Colada” (Rp. 140,000 nett), a coconut-based cocktail created by the resort’s bartenders. Served in a coconut shell, this drink will freshen up your day with a concoction of coconut water, coconut liqueur, pineapple and orange juice.
